Sonderlist is a way to hear from people whose lives you'd never otherwise see.
Twice a week, someone you will probably never meet tells you something true, in their own words.
Why we're doing this
The goal is to know and understand the lives and perspectives of people across the world.
There are no profiles, no feeds, no public likes, and no comments. Nothing to perform for and nothing to argue with. You read what someone chose to share, and if it lands, you can send them a heart.
How we keep it safe
We review every message before it goes out. We never change anyone's words. If something needs to change, we send it back to the writer with a note.
Keeping it going
Sonderlist is free. There are no ads, and we don't sell anything. It costs a little each month to run (email, hosting, and the domain), and it's a small, independent project. If it's meant something to you and you'd like to help cover those costs, you can chip in. It's never expected.
